GLOBAL MEDIA / DIGITAL STUDIES SENIOR THESIS

The purpose of this study is to synthesize an original creative work in the form of a

screenplay, and to analyze the academic methodology, literature, and theories behind this work

as well. This creative work drew inspiration from many modern mystery and queer-centric television shows and films. It also took inspiration

from queer history, as queer cinema as a whole has been heavily affected by politics and

sociological approaches to queerness in society since its inception. This screenplay is a

culmination of studies in the College of Wooster’s Global Media & Digital Studies department,

an organic addition to queer cinema as an institution, and an exemplar of the teachings and

media artifacts referenced in the department’s instruction.
